Suffolk SketchFest is open to everyone who’s curious about art, wants to sketch, paint and be outdoors.
Suffolk SketchFest is returning to Woodbridge this year presented by Art Safari with three vibrant days celebrating the maritime heritage and wildlife of the River Deben through art. Art Safari runs art holidays and art workshops worldwide, getting people excited about sketching around the world since 2003.

The festival will host over 90 art events, including artist-led walks, demonstrations, and workshops for all skill levels - led by an exceptional line-up of 11 artist tutors including Mary-Anne Bartlett, Claudia Myatt, Julia Cassels, Mark Boyd, Ian Sedge and many other talented artists who will be sharing their expertise with participants.
Participants can design their own festival schedule by choosing from a range of events suitable for beginners to experts. Help is on hand to customise attendees' timetables and help them find the perfect schedule to suit their interests!
You can access a detailed Suffolk SketchFest schedule here and further information about the sketching festival, along with the Suffolk SketchFest Media Pack which presents a more visual overview of what Suffolk SketchFest is about.
The festival also offers several bursary places to help get people involved who might not be able to otherwise attend. Please let the organisers know if you would like to put someone forward for this.
